Dangyong leads workers from a bus company on a strike for better benefits. The bus company sacks those workers who went on strike, creating a tense situation. Zhang Min brings her students to support the workers. Workers on strike form a human wall infront of the bus depot to prevent buses from leaving. Dangyong accuses Zhang Yan of being a colonial lackey when he arrives to provide instructions to the bus company manager on handling the situation.
